What is your role within the company?
I am in charge of Marketing for the company, keeping our socials up to date with our latest news, as well as managing our Website
What attracted you to the industry?
All my life my mum has worked in the industry and when I left my role in London, Mark and Maria approached me to come on board and complete a marketing apprenticeship and help them reach more people using this.
It was a great opportunity and I have really enjoyed learning all about construction
Your favourite project you have worked on?
As I haven’t been in the industry for long I don’t have a favourite currently but out of all the urban projects my favourite has to be Carrier Travel Agent, I love the art deco look and the transformation from the before and after is incredible
Biggest changes you have noticed in the industry?
Last week I took a lot of time to research the changes that have happened in the industry and one of the biggest is the amount women who are now in C suit level positions and also how more young women are looking to get into the industry.
If you could go anywhere, where would it be?
I have been lucky to travel a lot with family, but one place I have always wanted to go in Iceland to see the northern lights. I was very jealous of Maria and Mark as they were lucky to go see them a few years ago!

Best advice to get someone who wants to get into the industry?
The best advice I could give anyone who wants to get into the industry whether back office or onsite, is to follow your passions, if it’s something you really want to do give it a chance don’t let others’ opinions stop you
