Having completed refurbishments for Mr & Mrs Adams at their shops in Stoke Newington they asked if we would consider doing some works to their home. They had a new kitchen layout designed by Howdens and need us to carry out the works.
Works involved
- Rip out of old kitchen, w.c and outhouse
- Removal of wall in kitchen to create an open plan kitchen/diner
- Removal of flat roof and construction of pitched roof over utility and W.C area which needed full insulation and then imitation slate tiles installed
- The old outhouse had to be fully lined and insulated prior to the new fixtures being installed
- Updating electrics including new distribution board, installation of LED lights and sockets
- Relocating plumbing for the new kitchen layout, w.c & utility
- Installation of numerous wall and floor cabinets & installation of solid woodwork tops including routing out for the draining board
- New soundproof plasterboard ceilings
- Plastering, decoration and tiling throughout
- Installation flooring
- New Windows, external doors and bespoke sliding barn door
