Carrier travel is a luxury travel agency based in the heart of Alderley Edge. Working closely with Chalk Architecture we completed a 7-week fit out program with a handover set in store despite hitting problems as the rip-out progressed the staff handover on Christmas Eve to a client who could not believe the transformation.
Works Undertaken
- Total gutting of existing sales and back office area over three floors
- Two new staircases including support steels and new openings
- Replace sash windows to match existing
- Chimney pointing
- Bespoke joinery including new reception desk and display equipment
- Finishes included wallpapering, painting, decorative tiling, curtains and flooring
- Electrical rewiring and installation of data cabling, new media displays, lighting, fire alarm and Mechanical Installation
- Plumbing for the two new kitchens and updating the staff washrooms
- Construction new stud partition walls & new MF and suspended ceilings to provide private sales areas
- Removal of existing shopfront and replace with new shopfront and timber cladding
